Do Constituents Have the Right to Know? Klees Believes They Do! (Richmond Hill) Frank Klees, MPP said today, " I regretfully report that Bill 171, Spousal Relationships Statue Law Amendment Act, was passed by the Legislature by a Voice Vote despite our efforts to secure a Recorded Vote. " Attached is the Hansard Record of MPP Klees efforts to convince the required 4 additional members of the legislature to stand with him to effect that Recorded Vote.
" I thank my colleagues, Jerry Ouellette, MPP for Oshawa and Bill Murdoch, MPP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, the only two Members who stood with me to request a Recorded Vote ", said Mr. Klees. " I thank those who called, wrote and emailed to express their support for the position I took on behalf of my constituents on this issue ," continued Klees.
